If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you must not access or submit documentation through our network platform.

2. Structure & Nature of Legal Network

ATTORNEY ADVERTISING & ROUTING NOTICE: RouteDefense Group operates as a legal technology platform and lawyer network that facilitates initial intake, jurisdictional analysis, and case transmission between motorists and independent licensed defense attorneys. RouteDefense itself is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation directly.

Independent attorneys participating in the RouteDefense Network are vetted, maintain active licensing in their respective state jurisdictions, and adhere to applicable state ethics and professional responsibility rules.

3. Attorney-Client Relationship Formation

Transmitting your citation details, narrative, or uploaded ticket documentation through our website does NOT automatically establish an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formally established ONLY when:

The assigned defense attorney conducts an ethical conflict check and confirms availability in your county court venue.
Both you and the assigned attorney execute a formal engagement agreement detailing scope of representation.
Agreed legal fees or retainers are settled in accordance with applicable state trust account (IOLTA) standards.

4. No Outcome Guarantee Disclaimer

Judicial determinations, dismissals, charge reductions, and fine waivers are within the sole constitutional discretion of the presiding municipal, county, or district judge and prosecuting agency.

PRIOR RESULTS DO NOT GUARANTEE A SIMILAR OUTCOME. Statements regarding historical case resolution rates (such as dismissal rates or DMV point protection) reflect past performance across our network and do not constitute a promise or warranty of success in your specific legal matter.

5. Driver Responsibilities & Court Deadlines

Until formal retention of defense counsel is confirmed in writing, you remain solely responsible for monitoring and complying with all court appearance deadlines, payment due dates, and summons orders indicated on your traffic citation.

You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information, including legible copies of any issued tickets or notices.

6. Fees, Retainers & Refunds

Initial preliminary case evaluations submitted through RouteDefense are provided at zero upfront cost ($0). If you elect to retain matched legal counsel, all legal representation fees, flat-rate defense retainers, or court costs are clearly disclosed prior to retention.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RouteDefense Group LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, and technology providers shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from website unavailability, clerical input errors by users, or decisions rendered by courts or law enforcement agencies.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed under the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to your use of the website platform shall be resolved through confidential binding arbitration or appropriate judicial venues.
