Privacy Policy & Data Security

Effective Date: October 27, 2026
Entity: RouteDefense Group LLC
Jurisdiction: United States (All 50 States)
Encryption: 256-Bit SSL / TLS 1.3

1. Overview & Institutional Scope

RouteDefense Group LLC ("RouteDefense", "we", "our", or "the Network") operates as a legal access and routing platform connecting motorists facing traffic citations, misdemeanors, and license points with vetted, licensed traffic defense attorneys across all 50 US states and 3,143 municipal county jurisdictions.

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, encryption, transmission, and retention of personal data and legal citation records submitted via our websites (including routedefensegroup.com, docs.routedefensegroup.com, and affiliated portals).

2. Information We Collect

When you request a case evaluation or utilize our automated case intake portal, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact Credentials: Full legal name, telephone number, email address, and home jurisdiction.
  • Citation & Violation Data: Citation number, issuing law enforcement agency, date and time of infraction, alleged statutory violation (e.g., speeding speed differential, CDL safety infraction, reckless driving), and court appearance deadlines.
  • Jurisdictional Venue: The issuing State, County, and municipal court assigned to your file.
  • Factual Narrative: Any voluntary context, road conditions, radar calibration notes, or prior driving record history you disclose in the case details field.

3. Citation Document & Photographic Uploads

Our secure intake portal permits drivers to upload photographic or PDF copies of their traffic citations, court summons, or driving records (up to 10MB per transmission).

Critical Security Protocol: Uploaded document files are transmitted over TLS 1.3 encrypted sockets directly into quarantined, access-restricted cloud storage. They are decrypted solely for the verified defense attorney assigned to conduct your preliminary legal evaluation.

4. How Data Is Routed & Used

RouteDefense uses your submitted information strictly for legal case evaluation and attorney assignment:

  • To verify jurisdictional venue and match your matter with a licensed attorney in the specific county of issue.
  • To compute potential DMV point penalties, license suspension risks, and commercial driving (CDL) CSA score impacts.
  • To deliver case confirmation notices and evaluation updates via secure email or telephone.
  • To comply with statutory legal reporting requirements and judicial auditing rules.

5. 256-Bit Encryption Standards

We implement institutional-grade technical, administrative, and physical safeguards:

  • Transport Layer Security: All web traffic and form submissions are secured with 256-bit SSL / TLS 1.3 encryption.
  • Restricted Attorney Access: Only defense counsel vetted and active within our network who maintain good standing with their respective State Bar Association are granted access to case intake files.
  • No Plaintext Storage: Sensitive driver records and citation documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards.

6. Non-Disclosure & Strict Non-Sale of Data

RouteDefense maintains an unconditional policy regarding personal data:

WE DO NOT SELL, RENT, OR MONETIZE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. We never distribute driver information to insurance carriers, marketing brokers, commercial data aggregators, or automated background databases.

Information is disclosed solely to: (i) the assigned defense attorney and their authorized legal staff, (ii) municipal or county courts solely upon formal retention and filing of entry of appearance, and (iii) technical service providers operating under strict confidentiality covenants.

7. Attorney-Client Privilege & Work-Product Notice

Initial submission of citation data through RouteDefense initiates a confidential inquiry. While formal attorney-client representation commences only upon execution of an engagement agreement and retainer with the assigned attorney, all preliminary communications and uploaded documents submitted for the purpose of seeking legal representation are treated as strictly confidential to the maximum extent permitted by law and State Bar ethical rules.

8. Data Retention & Erasure Requests

Citation records that do not proceed to formal legal retention are permanently archived or deleted in accordance with legal document retention schedules. You retain the right to request verification, correction, or deletion of your personal case information at any time by contacting our compliance office.
